I'm looking at front projectors specificly the infocus LP6500 or the Proxima DP 6500. They say the bulbs should be replaced after 1000 hours and it could last as long as 2000 hours. I'm not sure if the bulb slowly losses it's lumenace.

I would appreciate 3 different types, but any would be great! I found a drop-down list of great projectors with the needed lumen's, but I have no idea how to tell if they have the Pic Mute (which is a necessity) feature on the remote. Help!

Do projectors provide picture quality as good as tvs do? For example would a 1080p projector look as good as a 1080p tv. Thanks
